Christopher Finlayson

Christopher Finlayson was a senior minister in the last National government and was one of John Key's most trusted ministers. He was elected to Parliament in 2005 and served as Attorney-General and Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations from 2008-2017. During his Ministerial career he also held a number of other portfolios. He is the co-author of He Kupu Taurangi: Treaty Settlements and the Future of Aotearoa New Zealand. He left politics in 2019 and now works for Bankside Chambers as a barrister. He lives in Wellington.
