Chris Price
Chris Price would like to be a jazz musician in her next life, but in this one she’s just a poet who sometimes writes on musical themes. Chris is the author of three poetry collections, and an essay on improvisation in music and poetry appears in The Fuse Box. Her latest book is The Lobster’s Tale, a braided essay in conversation with the photographs of Bruce Foster.Chris convenes the MA (Poetry and Nonfiction) Workshop at the International Institute of Modern Letters. In this event she brings trumpeter Chet Baker together with the man who wrote the lyrics for Baker’s most famous track, ‘My Funny Valentine’
