Johanna Knox
Johanna is of Ngāti Tukorehe and Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga descent. She also has English, Scottish and Irish ancestry. She lives on Te Atiawa land in Te Whanganui-a-Tara where she works as a writer and editor.
She's currently working on a PhD in creative writing, exploring journeys of reconnection with Māori whakapapa from a personal perspective. Her books include The Forager’s Treasury (Allen & Unwin), Guardians of Aotearoa (Bateman Books, 2018) and Ethical Fashion (Rosen Young Adult, 2019).
