Katy Horan has a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her fine art work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. A three-time New American Paintings winner, she was included in the 2011 Texas Biennial, and was a finalist for the 2015 Hunting Art Prize. Her illustration clients include: Bust Magazine, Pop Up Magazine, and Birth.Movies.Death. She is the illustrator of Literary Witches: A Celebration of Magical Women Writers, The Literary Witches Oracle and Ask Baba Yaga: Poetic Remedies for Troubled Times (all collaborations with writer Taisia Kitaiskaia). She lives and works in Austin, Tx.
