Protest Poetry

  • S&M's Cocktail Bar 176 Cuba Street Wellington, 6011 New Zealand (map)

We speak our truth, our voices will be heard! Three-headed taniwha, climate change, social welfare cuts and more—there’s a lot to be fired up about right now. What better way to deal than to bring your mates and listen to a lineup of poets that put the slam in slam poetry? With so much happening in the world, being together and hearing poetry that says all the things you’re thinking can be the perfect antidote. Featuring Te Kahu Rolleston, Teirangi Klever, Abdul Samad Haidari and Dallas Karangaroa. Facilitated by Nicole Titihuia Hawkins.

Venue is not wheelchair accessible

ENTRY BY DONATION, $5 SUGGESTED
