Maya Neupane is a twenty-one year old student living in a cold flat in Aro Valley. Her surname is from Nepal. No she hasn't been there. When she's not centring her personality around her current location, she's busy working at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery, serving drinks at Havana bar or completing her creative writing minor at the Institute of Modern Letters. She has written about art for Salient magazine and Femisphere. In the future she hopes the New Yorker will be on that list too.
