Maytal Noy is a thirteen-year-old writer from Wellington. Her poem “There, I said it” has been published in More Than A Roof: Housing, in Poems and Prose. She has won and been commended in a few competitions including the FABO story competition, the Mt. Vic Hub kid’s short story competition, and the New Zealand Poetry Society’s International Poetry Competition. Her best friends are her books and her dog, who are obviously less scary than the teenagers at school. She has recently completed a novel based on her own challenges and elations.
