Nadia Solomon (Ngāi Te Rangi) is a 20 year old rangatahi Māori poet with an incredible propensity for exhuming, wielding and communicating her tuakiritanga/identity through words both written and spoken. Inspired by the spectrum of human emotion and experience in paralell with the natural environment, she strives to capture the micro and macro moments of life through poetry. With aspirations to be a full time writer and published author, Nadia is a working part time while she explores how to do this. We look forward to hosting them in this year’s Te Hā stream of Verb Festival.
